My Blog

I just came back from a 5 days 4 night trip to Bangkok and I'm wondering if I should blog about it. But being the lazy person I am, I have no idea if I can spend 1 hour blogging about it. We shall see...

Wow, yesterday was the first time I played Halo 2 in four months, and I had to take part in an online competition, with close to zero practice. My performance was...surprising. I expected myself to be totally unable to play at all, because after not playing for months, I should've forgotten many many things. Surprising, I did surprisingly well and we won 2 out of the 3 matches we played yesterday. We referring to me and Tidus. Quite an honour to team up with him, the "8th best Halo 2 player in the world", according to Straits Times.

Yesterday was Mr Leow's and my birthday. Can't say I'm very happy, because something that I hoped would've happen didn't happen. But 3/3 sang a song for me before singing for Mr Leow so at least not so bad la. My father bought me a pen which cost $50+ and my sister so cute. She bought me a correction tape because she spoilt my old one. She put the correction tape in an envelope which had the words

"Big bro
A Present For You
From Your Little Sis"

No idea why, but I felt very happy after receiving that present.

Today was P.O.P. I'm very happy with my post, Projects and Planning commitee aka slack commitee (I hope). Since I only have about 30 minutes to study for Maths test tomorrow, I shall cut this post short. Look forward to my next update about a month later :D

Damn. I caught the cold. My throat hurts so bad I can't eat anything. Because of that, I feel very hungry and weak now.

Nothing much happened, except that I know some of my results. Amaths I just got A1-30/40, Physics 26/40, Chinese 36/55 and Emaths 28/40. I think these are my best papers. Literature was a screw-up, so was Chemistry, Geography and Social Studies.

Today was NP day. Had to wake up so early which resulted in me feeling tired the whole day. Thankfully, there's no training today. I don't think I would've survived in my current condition.

Probably the best thing that happened to me today was that I did 13 pull-ups and Brendon can't do that many. So...yay?

Brendon should learn how to keep his mouth shut, literally.

While we were having lunch after school, Kenelm said something about Pamela's voice being too high to be heard. Pamela poked his side and he did his gay "AHH". It really cracked Brendon up, who was eating cookies and sitting beside me. He laughed so much that the partially digested cookie in his mouth dropped on my pants. My pants had some very unslightly brown stains that one might be mistaken for shit.

So I went to the toilet at the canteen to try to wash the stains off. A security guard was using the sink beside me and he suddenly said something inaudible very loudly. At first, I didn't understand wtf he was saying because his voice is so unclear, but I could make out the words "swing" and "water". So I went,"Ok" even though I didn't understand him. I continued with what I was doing when he said,"Can you swing the bloody water properly or not? You swing the water at me. Tell you don't swing already still swing." Naturally, being a polite but stupid person, I apologised.

Many times, after I say or do something, I regret it. What happened at the toilet is an example. I shouldn't have apologised to the security guard. Since he shouted and cursed at me (I consider "bloody" a curse-word), I should've said something like "the water isnt bloody" or "you don't have to shout". And by the way, I have no idea how I can swing water.

But actually, I pity the security guard. He must have a single-digit IQ and had poor education, hence his job as a security guard. His voice must've been so unclear because of all the fats pressing against his throat, which he gained as a security guard doing nothing. I really wonder how he can be a security guard when he's fat and unfit. But then again, there's probably nothing else he can do, having a single-digit IQ.

And that concludes my bitching for the day. Hopefully next time when someone scolds me for a lame reason, I'll be able to think of a better answer than "sorry" since by doing so, I'll appear to be the one at wrong.

Yay. I finally finished the Chemistry poster. First time I did so much work for a project.

PE today was volleyball. I wasn't looking forward to it earlier but once we played a match, it was so fun(ny). My team was me, Kenelm, Edmund, Kevin. Their team was Ajay, Chewyi, Rahadi, Zhen Jie. In total, the ball flew into the field 3 times. Edmund, the star volleyball player, wanted to hit the ball in front. Being such a pro, he hit the ball and it flew to his face. And Kenelm, another pro, can't even serve properly. Twice, he tried to use the "one hand" method to serve. Both failed miserably. Haha, very fun lar. But after that everybody was complaining that their hands were pain. A lot of the blood vessels on Kevin's hands burst. Poor Little Boy.

Mr. Leow brought us to Inspire Town for Class Interaction and CME. Yes, the one that costed $80k for an air-conditioned room with some toys. Leon was being very gay during CME. He tried to strip Chewyi and was caught by Mr. Leow. He then proceeded to try to rape me. Thankfully, tuapekgong blessed me and I was able to escape, still a virgin.

When we left Inspire Town, I put on one shoe and realised the other one was missing. After searching around for it, Kenelm came and told me that somebody took it. I hopped back to the classroom and thank tuapekgong it was on my table. Someone told me it was Benjamin who took my shoe so I took his out and ran away, with him chasing after me, one leg barefooted. But thanks to my sheer speed and cunning, I ran up a flight of staircases and he ran down. In the end I went back to class and returned him his shoe. So fun to run around the school :D

Good news: I've downloaded Photoshop so you can expect a new layout and save your eyes from the ugliness that is the current layout.

Bad news: The last time I wanted to make a layout, I didn't complete so there's little hope of me completing this new one.

Kenelm's so dumb. He decided to go into a water fight with me and he ended up with his entire back wet. Moral of the story: don't try to have a water fight with me. You'll get very wet :)

Ouch. My whole body is aching from the 100+ push-ups that I did yesterday morning during the camp. Actually the camp was okay-not enjoyable, but also not very tough except for the second day. The camp only started from 4.30 pm. I had time to finish my English homework after school, go to Hougang Point for lunch with Kenelm and Clement, come home, take a shower, play computer for 1 hour and go back to school.

From 4.30 pm, we prepared our campfire performance, had very little for dinner, had campfire, watched a Thai horror movie, then had our night walk. Dinner sucked very badly. They gave us very little time so only had time to eat half a packet of instant noodles, 1 can of curry chicken cubes and 1 can of sardines. Campfire was so-so. All the campfire performances were sucky because they gave us very little time to prepare.

The Thai movie after the campfire I watched a bit of it before. Honestly, I'm not a very big fan of horror movies. But this movie wasn't scary. Some parts a bit gory but I love gore.

Night walk was the most fun part of the camp. Almost the same as last year. Just walked around the school (which was quite dark) and signed our names at the checkpoints. Hairi was using his handphone to play the X-Files tune, supposedly to scare us. Haha, then once, he jumped from around the corner and shouted,"Boo!" I wasn't really surprised because he left his phone in a locker where I was. Quite obvious that there was someone nearby. So my night walk ended at 1.05 am. Rested in the AVT until like 2 when they let us go back to our classrooms to sleep until 6.30 am. Initially, I managed to catch like 2 hours+ of sleep but I woke up halfway through and couldn't sleep all the way until 6.30 pm. My pillow, which was my bag, was too hard and so was the floor. Just lay there waiting for 6.30 am.

P.T. the next day was hell, more so since I had a very light dinner the day before. My arms felt damn weak when they asked us to do push-ups. Thankfully, we had breakfast after P.T. Played Captain's Ball. My team lost our first match. The whole thing lasted like 2 hours in total and then we had our Amazing Race, which was really tiring for me. The last task we did went like this: each team had to score 10 penalty goals without a keeper. To have 1 shot, somebody must do 10 push-ups. My team kept missing our shots so in the end I did about 80 push-ups, which resulted in my arms aching now. My team was last for Amazing Race but I don't really care. Then some NCO asked us to help carry down the benches from the hall to the canteen. Really damn tired because of the push-ups I did earlier on. At about 2 pm, camp ended. I came home, took a shower, ate my lunch, and slept, totally exhausted.

Damn it. I've been very worried about something that happened during the cross-country. Kenelm, the Einstein, was the photographer for the event. As I ran past him along the road, I flashed my middle fingers when he took a photo of me.

I didn't think much about it until he told me that he forgot to delete the photo and that he had already returned the camera to Mr. Lim. I don't dare to imagine his reaction and expression when he sees the photo. Last night, I even dreamt that Mr. Lim came to see me and he scolded Kenelm. Hopefully that's true. Wahaha, I'm so evil.

I got sabo-ed during NPCC today. The teacher officer wanted 6 people to join a leadership course in June which will span a period of 3 days and each day of the course will waste 9.5 hours. Sadly, I got "volunteered" to join and get the chance to waste time, yay! If there's one thing I hate a lot, it's wasting time.

My father is bringing us to the IT Show tomorrow. Since we're going there quite early, hopefully it won't be too crowded. Just now, my father told me some things to get excited and happy about. Everything there is cheap and Dell included many freebies such as upgrade from 17" to 19" LCD monitor, upgrade to 1 gb ram and upgrade the 3D graphics card. However, the computer will take 10-14 days to arrive and by that time, my holidays would long have been over and wasted. But can't complain much. After waiting for 2 years+, 10-14 days isn't really a lot.

Today's cross-country at MacRitchie Reservoir is as bad as last year's.

So fun. I went to take 156 with my brother. We were walking towards the bus stop when we saw 156. Knowing that we would not be able to catch the bus, we decided to run to the next bus stop. The distance between the two bus stops was like 150m. Against all odds, we managed to reach the next bus stop in time. Once on the bus, my brother realised that he had dropped his water bottle while running. Luckily he managed to find it when he came back.

Reached MacRitchie at about 6.50 a.m. Mr Leow looked so funny. He was wearing short shorts, spectacles and he looked so much like a student. Sec 3's started last, at about 8.20. Everybody say want to walk, in the end all run. I didn't stop all the way until the road area, where I walked almost the whole length of it. Kenelm was taking photographs and when he wanted to shoot me, I pointed my middle fingers at him and he captured it. Imagine if that goes to the yearbook. I'll be as famous as Daniel's famous "cute-boy-riding-on-bike-for-the-first-time" photograph :D

Not one 3/3 boy got top 20 but 21st was Royce, 22nd was Ajay and 23rd Zaki. Geng An got 24th. I should be about 30-40+. The fastest guy is amazing. He finished the 4.8km in 18 minutes. Damn sick.

After cross-country went to Thomson Plaza with Zhi Wei, Tracie, Kenelm for lunch and we saw a lot of Andersonians. Wtf. Brendon still alive. Thought he said he would drown in the reservoir or something. After lunch, we were leaving the food court when we spotted Mr. Leow. Think he saw Tracie and Zhi Wei doing something stupid, and he suddenly disappeared.

After wasting about 1 hour+, we wanted to go to Tracie's house to play but Kenelm wanted to go home so I took 165 with him.

I have some really good news for myself. My father is going to buy a new computer and from what I know, it's going to be one mean machine. But the sad thing is, I don't know when my father is going to buy it and it seems like he's not in a hurry to. He's going to the IT show either on Saturday or Sunday but I'm really worried. If he buys it on the weekends, most likely he won't have time to install everything needed and he'll have to wait until next weekend, when my holidays are over. I really hope I can get the new computer soon.

These past few days, I've been very disturbed by something that my mother told me. My cousin's grandmother, who is my mother's sister's husband's mother, only has about 3 weeks left.

I remember towards the end of 2003, she was admitted to the hospital. The doctor said that she had half a year left. It's really quite amazing that she has managed to hold on for so long. By the way, she's 92 years old this year.

The doctor advised her to get an oxygen tank but she refused. I think she's given up hope. Really dread 3 weeks later la...

Something funny and painful happened to me today. I went to the chin-up bar in my house and did chin-ups. After my first one, I relaxed and pulled myself up. Halfway through, the whole bar gave way and I landed on my backside and ankles. Needless to say, they hurt. My mother heard the noise and came to check on me and I was sitting there in pain laughing at myself.

Had campcraft training to prepare for the campcraft competition on Saturday. It was quite slack as Tommy Sir was not there. Towards the end, we spent 19 minutes building the shelter (for the competition, we are only given 10 minutes). The training was nothing but a waste of time. I really wish I wasn't chosen. So what if we win? We don't get any trophy. Instead, it's the school that gets to keep the trophy. The only good thing coming out of this is that I'll get CCA points.

I came home and watched the MTV that my group made, albeit a very laggy MTV on my computer. When you spent one whole afternoon filming the video and you watch the final product, it really gives you a sense of satisfaction. More so when I'm the director and scriptwriter. I really hope Mrs. Lee and the class enjoy the MTV.

It's already 8.25 pm and I have barely started studying Physics. Better go now or else I'll get Physics tuition when my mother sees my results.

I think my Xbox and father hate me.

About a week after I spent $199.90 buying a starter kit and a wireless adapter, my Xbox decided to die on me. When my father tried to fix it, he concluded with,"The hard-disk kaputt." For the uninitiated, it means that the hard-disk is dead so there is nothing I can do on the Xbox.

On Wednesday, I came home from school only to see my father reinstalling everything on my computer. Just when I had inspiration to do a banner for a layout which was overdue 2 months, my father had to reinstall everything and in turn delete Photoshop. Hopefully I'll install Photoshop again soon.

I think this CNY for me can be considered a raving success...in terms of ang bao money. So far, I've gotten about $300+. Previously, my ang bao money would be about $200+. The sudden increase in ang bao money is due to my father and grandmother giving me $50 each.

To end this short post, I shall quote a very lame quote from Timothy.
"I won't force you to go to the bus-stop with me."
"But if you don't go with me, I will force you."

Last week, Kenelm and I were talking about our teachers. When Kenelm said that Mr. Lim is the "kan kiong guy", I have to agree wholeheartedly with him. Mr. Lim's face has that kan jiong look. Like he has a stomachache and the nearest toilet is in the Juan de Fuca Plate. He talks and walks VERY fast, like one hour of Math lesson everyday isn't enough. Despite his kan joing-ness, he's still a pretty good Maths teacher. He gave me a "good work" for one of my homework (jealous, Kenelm?) and I understand him most of the time when he is explaining something complicated. And I suspect he might be able to count to infinity two times.

Sec 3 life has been very hectic. I think Sec 1 and Sec 2 were the only 2 years for us to relax. After this year, then got O levels. Then most likely going JC. I've heard a lot of (bad) things about JC. Like everyday reach home at 7 pm. After JC is NS, then if I'm smart enough, maybe University. Don't think I'll have the chance to fool around much anymore, what with O level Higher Chinese this year.

School is starting to suck, but that's a given. Lessons can get incredibly boring at times and today, during Physics, I felt drowsy and sleepy. Maybe it was because I was lacking my hourly dosage of Do You Want To. According to Kenelm,"it is so bad that it is good." Once again, I must agree. I think I'm going to wake my brother up tonight when I sing in my dreams,"Oh well I wake up tonight..." But really, that song is so full of energy that when I hear it, I feel so hyperactive. I think I'm in love.

I'm missing Mrs. Tan, our old principal, a lot. Barely 24 days of 2006 has passed and I can say that I prefer Mrs. Tan to Mrs. Poh. What kind of Casual Friday is it if you can't tuck out, wear sports shoes and ankle socks? Why can't she learn how to pronounce "Andersonians" properly?

Just a smallish update for my -coughs- legions of fans.

I'm busy trying to enjoy the last few minutes of a wasted weekend.

Saturday-CCA Open House was a waste of time-as usual. It was made worse by the fact that I had to perform the combat thing, which we learnt the day before the open house, in the parade square. If you haven't seen it (which is a good thing), it's just 20 people standing in the parade square doing some really lame combat moves and "sparring". The "sparring" was just a fixed set of combat moves. One person attack, one person defend. Very, very, retarded. After all the crap, CCA Open House ended at around 12+. Came home, ate lunch, slept for 2 hours then had -gasps- Chinese tuition. Tuition teacher is a 50+ year old woman. Even though it was only 1 hour long, it was very very tiring (both mentally and physically) as I had to read a passage for about 10 minutes. Tuition ended at 5pm and the rest of the day was wasted.

Today-Went to Orchard with my mum, sis, auntie and cousin. Had a very nice lunch at some restaurant/cafe called "Island". Walked around a lot, then went to buy some cookies for Chinese New Year. Came home at 5+ and I was too exhausted to do homework so went to watch MTV. I'm kind of disappointed in MTV as they keep playing the same videos over and over again eg. Madonna-Hung Up, Fort Minor-Believe Me, Kelly Clarkson-Because Of You, Westlife feat. some black woman who looks like Janet Jackson-When You Tell Me That You Love Me, Backstreet Boys-I Still and a few other songs. Seriously, are there so few songs that they have to keep playing the same ones? Not that I dislike them, but I'm waaaaaaaaaay too sick of them.

Mmm, time for the end of the weekends. School going to resume tomorrow. Sian. Time to tuck myself in. Ta.

Today has been a really awesomeful day. If every school day could be like today, I'd almost love school.

Arrived and class and Brendon passed me his Geog textbook. Thanks, "cool dude".

The sky was so beautiful that we didn't have assembly. Really beautiful because I hate assembly (not that everyone doesn't, but I hate it more as I always sweat a lot during assembly).

P.E. first period. Actually I not supposed to go cos doctor give me M.C. but I managed to persuade my parents to let me go so yay. Ran 5 rounds around the assembly area and "roundabout", did some stretching, then did 10 crunches, 10 push-ups, 10 crunches, 10 push-ups. It started to drizzle a bit so we went to to porch to do 100 jumping jacks. For whatever unknown reason, my legs got very very tired after the jumping jacks. Probably because I just recovered from fever. But of course, 100 jumping jacks is also a lot. Had to run 3 rounds around a relatively short route but no matter how hard I tried, I was just too tired and walked most of it.

Had Geography after that. Was quite funny when Mdm. Hasniza was forced by Andy to introduce herself again after the 3/4 people (including Geng An and Wei An) entered. Other than that, nothing much happened. Wasted most of Geog while Benjamin tried to set up the projector. After he successfully successed in setting it up, Mdm. Hasniza talked a bit about the Earth (upper mantle, asthenosphere and the stuff we learnt in Sec 1) and then 'twas Maths D:

Mr. Lim is sooo much like Mdm. Hee. He enters the class right after the previous teacher has left. Why must he be so punctual, damnit? But at least he gave us 5 mins break so I could return the Geog book to Brendon. It seems like Maths lessons always have the tendency to be faster than my sister's waistline growth (which is fast, at an astronomical rate). I always don't have enough time to copy finish everything and understand what Mr. Lim is teaching. This lesson, he taught us about absolute values e.g. |5|=5. It started to get real confusing for me when he went to |x-2|>1 or something like that. This is the kind of situation where I'll have to sit at my table for half an hour and just stare at the paper until I understand.

Reccess (sp?) I had Char Kway Teow. Nothing interesting there.

Had Chemistry, Class Interation then CME. Suffice to say that Mr. Leow is a very nice teacher and he isn't married so Kenelm still got chance LOL.

To cut the ending short,
1)Mr. Leow is super nice.
2)He has same birthday as me.
3)Kenelm is interested in him.
4)Bookshop still don't have Geog book so I have to borrow again.
5)I had $1.50 wanton mee for lunch and some of it wasn't cooked.
6)I waited for Timothy to finish his mee only to find out that his mother was going to fetch him so nobody to go home with.
7)Came home and I got pasta and pizza for dinner!

<3,
kuan ni na.

Thank all Muslims for Hari Raya. Don't know how I could've survived one more day of school.

Sec 3 is going to be my worst year in Anderson yet.

1)The class sucks. I don't see myself having recess together with the other 3/3 guys.
2)The lessons suck. There's going to be 1 hour of math lesson everyday. I have no idea how I'm going to survive that unless I sleep like 10 hours every night.

Really hope that things get better or I might just destroy some things.

Please skip this if you're not interested in competitive gaming, Halo 2 or me.

Today has been my greatest day in my relatively short career of a competitive gamer. For those who don't know, the self-initiated evilSWAT aka Siddiq sent a proposal to Rapture Gaming (organiser or WCG Nationals) regarding a Halo 2 competition. Apparantly, with his cleverness, he managed to win Rapture's approval and thus, today's competition happened. It would be, in evilSWAT's words, "the fairest compey in Singapore". Sounds kinda ambitious? But it turned out to be true.

A bit about my team's background. Hellfire/Jia Yu has quit Halo 2 so my best choice was CDagger. CDagger was my teammate in GXL and we've been playing together for almost the whole year now, therefore we have the teamwork there already. He's also one of the best Halo 2 players in Singapore (not that there are many). Yup, so I approached him to team up with me and he agreed. And sometime last week he told me that he had church so he couldn't go with me. Feeling very indignant, I sent him a 3-page long SMS about why he should join. Thankfully, he agreed by saying "Ok lor. But I dont think we can win." That comment was oh-so untrue. We decided on the team name "klasjfklsjgjajdjfskjf"...something unique and hard for evilSWAT to pronounce. Anyway, we had very little practise because CDagger skipped tuition and his father confiscated his controllers so no training.

Alright, fast forward to today. Woke up at 0830. Slacked around then went to take bus to Serangoon MRT and reached Dhoby Ghaut at 1030. Warmed up for about 1 hour. At about 1130, SWAT had to brief the Marshalls (Swat, Sublade, Lala, me and JB). Blahblahblah...blahblahblah. Match drawings...my team was against Rumble Pit All Starz. Was kinda worried cos Rumble Pit All Starz consists of JB and Stizel who are rather pro. The drawing, althought random, was very screwed up. All the "better" teams had to fight each other while the "noobier" teams had to fight each other.

Fast forward to our first match. I had first game jitters. Was very nervous and couldn't aim properly. We won our first match, second match we lost by a mere 1 kills and the last match we won by 10+ kills. The first round was very important because I realised that I couldn't be too tense. That realisation would later lead me to my victory (lol, sounds damn dramatic).

Second round was Constipated Dolphins (Sublade and Swiftnight Fox) aka 2nd place at WCG Nationals. Needless to say, my team was very worried that we would lose. We won the first game by quite a lot. Second game we lost, wtih swiftnight doing a lot of trash-talking, or in his case, trash-shouting. Sometimes when he got a kill he'd go,"HOW YOU LIKE THAT?!?!" Wasn't really affected by that. Just made his throat sore. Third game was one of the most cruical and nerve-wrecking, mind-blowing match. Jaron aka CDagger started off with an early killing spree which made one of the 7th Sin guys go,"CDagger on fire." Then they caught up, we kept taking the lead, losing the lead, taking the lead, losing the lead until it was tied at 49-49. I had an unbelievably tyco/lucky spawn and I spawned behind Swiftnight Fox. I meleed him but missed the assasination. Meleed again but missed, then I headshotted him and the announcer went,"Game Over." After that, I could hardly stop shaking. Was damn shaken by that match (pun intended). Damn tyco la. Constipated Dolphins was our hardest opponent of the tournament. After that victory, we were in the semi-finals against 7th Sin.

To cut it short, we 2-0'ed them. Warlock was pretty close, 50-47. We seemed to be in the right place at the right time most of the times and hence were able to double-team them. Second match was Lockout, our best map. We had a stellar defence (inspired by the OGRES). We won them by about 50-25 or somewhere around there. And we were in the finals against...Team Maple Story.

Nobody expected them to advance into the finals as both of them (Jack and BoonKiller) were not really regarded as "pros". Jaron and I went on to win them 2-0 and we were DSC Champions!!!11shiftone!!!1 When the second match ended, we didn't have much reaction. No victory dance, no roar of triumph. After all, we exptected to win them.

By that point of time, my throat was very sore and I was mentally exhausted. Shall cut the ending short.

Results:
1st place: my team
2nd place: Team Maple Story (a very gay game)
3rd place: 7th Sin

We played 10 matches and won 8, lost 2. I was the one doing the leading and I am very satisfied with my team's performance, since it was the first time we teamed up and I didn't expect to win. We walked away with a Logitech Internet Desktop each (keyboard and mouse). While the prize wasn't very good, it felt damn good winning Constipated Dolphins and 7th Sin and overall winning the whole competition.

PS: I'll never hear the end of it (people calling me kuanpro)
PPS: I earned $8 being a Marshall.
PPPS: This super long post was typed using the Logitech keyboard

Look forward to more compeys in the future!

So sexy right? The console has a bit of an hour-glass figure and it doesn't hurt that everything is white! I think I'm probably going to wait for local release and then buy it. Most probably the price would've dropped, most of the bugs would've been fixed and there will be more games to buy. But don't think I have the moolah aka cash and don't think my parents will allow. =(

Holy crap...just watched 4 gameplay videos of Call of Duty 2 on Xbox 360 and it's enough to make me wet my pants.

More than ever before, I want to be rich. So many reasons why.

1)I want/need a new computer.
2)I want/need to preorder an Xbox 360. I can preorder a Japanese version through Kirby but it costs $680. That's like half of my wealth.
3)I need a new router. It's almost impossible for me to play XBL with the lag I have to face everyday.
4)I want a pair of Sennheiser headphones.
5)I want a Plantronics Xbox LIVE compatible headset. My cheapo Microsoft headset has decided to malfunction.

If I were to buy all the above-mentioned stuff, I think I'd be about $3000 poorer. I want money...

Blargh...feel so tired I can hardly stand. Haven't swam so much in a while. Nothing much to update but my connection is still the same. Can't really play properly on XBox Live. Too laggy. WCG is next week. Good luck to 7th Sin.

Been a while since I blogged. Mainly because...
1)No one reads anyway
2)Went to Malaysia from last Thursday to Sunday, then class chalet from Tuesday to Thursday.

Anyway, I still have a slight bit of urge to do my layout so if anybody shows any interest in my blog at all, maybe I shall continue with my layout? If no one reads, why should I spend so much time designing a layout?

Anyway, Malaysia trip...I've got a few comments about it. Was kinda negative about it at first but something good came out of it. I'll get to that in "just a lil bit". I found out that I only grew 6 cm this year. Not satisfied. But everybody talked about how tall I am. Not surprising. Went to my Malay grandauntie's house for lunch and met up with relatives then went another relative's house. Urgh...so many relatives and all I don't know one.

Second day went to the Curve and bought a long white pants which I later wore at chalet. Nothing much happened that day.

Third day is probably the best day. Went to Sungei Wang as usual. Sungei Wang is this shopping mall with some I.T. shops that sells pirated discs etc. We go there everytime we go Malaysia. I had no intent on buying any game because computer cannot support and didn't want to get caught. Walked with my pa and bro for a while and then saw this guy at a stall doing magic tricks. Was kinda amazed by the tricks so we decided to spend 150 RM buying the whole set of discs that teach us the magic tricks. Went back and watched. Some quite stupid but was still satisfied with it. Anyway, that's about what happened during the Malaysia trip. Hope I can master some of the card tricks =P

Class chalet...my Xbox almost died. It was on most of the time except for a short break of a few hours. I didn't play much but had a few Halo 2 games. I won but wasn't satisfied with some of the games as the scores were like 50-21 or 50-23. Although they were 3v1 games, it's kinda disappointing that a "pro" like me should do so badly. But was happy with my 50-1 performance on Lockout. Whee. So yeah, chalet I didn't do much but mostly enjoyed it. BBQ was ok. Only things I can complain about is...lack of food, dirtyness of chalet and lack of room for the boys to sleep. I only slept 4 hours during the chalet but compared to Daniel's record of 1h10mins, 4 hours is a lot. Had a ghostly encounter and nothing much exciting besides that. Came back feeling very tired.

That's probably my last post in a while. Some things I decide to do during holidays...
1)Earn money.
2)Go swimming 3 times a week.
3)Not play so much Halo 2 but still remain, or may even improve, my skill.
4)Complete layout.

Yup, that's my last post. So unless anyone talks about my blog, don't think I'll be blogging anytime soon. To sound old school..."Cya!"

School really sucks. I really can't stand everything from the long assembly to the small canteen to almost everything. Fucking waste of time going to school.

Had the inter-class games thing today. We won the captain's ball. Didn't have much feelings because I was feeling bored the whole while. Then had recess. Nothing much happened just that a lot of people returned me money that they owed me including Daniel who returned me the 3 cents for the fries+rice.

2/6 got highest for every exam except for Higher Chinese. Go, nerds. Movie screening was when I got really frustrated. Fucking Chicken Run. Everything in the show looks like clay and it's been shown on Channel 5 recently. Wanted to listen to my Mini but kena caught by teacher. Then Sharleen borrowed and drained all the battery. Thanks arh. I was bored and frustrated almost the whole time. Bored because it's Chicken Run and frustrated for another reason. Then we (Tim, Dan and I) came up with some lame stuff. We tried to arm wrestle...1v1v1. Damn funny because it was super lame. We did lame stuff like arm wrestling, or rather, finger wrestling. Or thumb wrestling. Yar, then I invented a lame version of Chinese chess. Suffice to say Timothy got owned by my 1337 proness. Even though he should have won.

Went back to class for some talk with the form teacher thing. Mdm Hee didn't really say much. Then dismissed liao. And I started to get bugged by buggers. Always the same buggers asking me,"Can we go your house?" I think today I've heard that like 50 times already. In the end I pang seh everybody, or in some sense pang seh-ed myself, and went home alone. I can say much more about this but don't want to disappoint some people.

Came home and my bro was playing as usual. I don't mind him playing but he plays RUNESCAPE. Having nothing to do since XBL was down, I decided to take a nap. Woke up at 5pm and bugged my bro to let me use comp. Wasn't successful. I only started to use at like 6pm.

Shall continue to do my layout.

Got back papers today. I really don't know if I should feel happy or sad. First one was Science. Got like C6. 50+. I really really screwed up Science. Then got back Maths. Paper 1 did super badly. 30/50. Paper 2 was opposite. 47/50. So total I got 77. I very pissed off with Paper 1. I counted. If I had been less careless would've gotten maybe 10 marks more. Paper 2 nothing much to say. Lost 2.5 marks to time graph. If not I could've gotten 49.5. Highest in class woot. My next disappointment was Chinese. Expected to do bad and I got 59. Actually 59.25 but got rounded down. Missed B4 by just 0.75 marks. The other papers...not comments. Think next year going for Chem, Physics, Pure Geog and History elect.

Cheng Yan told me that I looked fierce. Lol. Maybe because I was pissed and bored? Whole day felt very sian. And I came home today told my father my results and he wasn't happy. I studied so hard for this term's exams lor. Never studied so much since PSLE. Apparantly he expects 70+ from me? Urgh...a mortal like me can never get so high.

Something funny happened today. Was walking to bus stop then Kenelm shouted,"72!!!!" So we (Kenelm, Timothy and I) ran up the bridge. Run halfway then saw that it wasn't 72 actually. Then we were laughing at Kenelm's smartness =P

I'm finally going to continue working on my layout after my 2 weeks break. Whee.

Saturday, or rather yesterday, can be easily summed up in 2 words-fucked up. I went to church because zhiwei tracie asked me to on the day of jasper's wake. I was like,"Ok lor."

So I went to Somerset yesterday...where the church was. Walked with some stranger called Yong Kang and another guy to the church. Forgot his name. I was introduced to so many people couldn't remember all their names...sorry. Fast forward to around the ending. The pastor said something like "those who want to receive jesus in your life, come down." I didn't really understand what he meant so I just sat there because I didn't want to be extra. Then this Yong Kang asked me to go...he said he'll go with me so I went lor. Didn't know that I would CONVERT. Turning point of the day. So the pastor said some prayer and I become CHRISTIAN? WTF. Rest of the day don't wanna talk about it. I was damn pissed after that but tried to contain it.

I went to church with no intention at all to convert. I've always been anti-religion. I don't believe in religions or gods. Really shouldn't have gone down to let the pastor pray for me. Partly my fault also. Shoud've told the Yong Kang that I just went to church for fun. I partly blame zhi wei and tracie, or tracie and zhi wei, for asking me to go church. Stupid shit la...I really regret what I did. :(

Woah my first post. Actually not but I deleted the other two. Err...school's starting tomorrow? Damn. Haven't played enough. Yeah, after my long 1 month break from Halo 2 I become super noob liao. Gotta train or else I'll never be back in time for GXL Season 4, which is supposed to be next month. Whee...I love money. I got my $112.50 :D
